Beamish Trip

10th March 2016

Thursday 10th March

Years 1 to 4 went to Beamish to investigate a murder mystery. Joe the Quilter from Warden was murdered in 1826.  There were four different suspects and the children had to ask questions and decide “who done it.” This followed work the children had already done learning about Joe and his home which is shortly to be rebuilt in Beamish.

The children also got a chance to visit the town and have a ride on the tram as well as buy sweets from the old fashioned sweet shop.

We all had a great day. I am looking forward to seeing the work that follows this valuable experience.
