Our amazing Reading buddies applied for their positions because they love reading and helping others. They have a very important role in school. They have been trained by Miss Derby in how to support children to learn phonics. They have been paired with a buddy who they help to practise their phonic sounds which the buddies keep to hand in their special pinnies! They also have responsibility for ensuring our new library is kept organised and beautiful.
