The Harrison Wellbeing Hub
The Harrison Wellbeing Hub is a dedicated space designed to support the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of our school community. It provides a safe, welcoming environment where children, families, and staff can access resources, support, and guidance to help them thrive.
At the heart of the Hub is a belief that wellbeing is essential for learning, growth, and belonging. Whether through small group sessions, one-to-one support, or community workshops, the Hub works to nurture resilience, build positive relationships, and create a culture of care and compassion.
Built Through Generosity
The Harrison Wellbeing Hub was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our community partners:

Their support and commitment to the wellbeing of young people has helped us create a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit generations to come.
Our Vision
-
To ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
-
To provide practical and emotional support for families.
-
To strengthen connections between school and community.
-
To promote resilience, kindness, and hope.
The Harrison Wellbeing Hub is more than just a space — it is a symbol of community spirit and the shared belief that together, we can make a real difference.
About the Build
The Harrison Wellbeing Hub has been carefully designed with sustainability at its heart. We wanted the building itself to reflect the values of care, responsibility, and forward thinking that the Hub represents.
-
Eco-Friendly Design – The Hub features a living roof, planted with greenery that helps to absorb rainwater, provide insulation, and support local biodiversity.
-
Recycled Plastic Bricks – The walls were constructed using innovative recycled plastic bricks. This approach has stopped thousands of plastic bottles from going into landfill, giving them a new purpose and reducing waste.
By combining innovation with care for the environment, the Hub is not only a place of wellbeing for people — it also plays a part in supporting the wellbeing of our planet.
A Whole School Effort
The Harrison Wellbeing Hub is more than just a building — it’s a creation that the whole school community has been part of. Every child and every member of staff played a role in bringing it to life.
-
Building the Panels – Working alongside Green Roof Structures, pupils and staff helped to assemble the wall panels, learning new skills and seeing first-hand how the Hub was being built.
-
A Lasting Legacy – Each child and staff member wrote their name on a brick, making their mark on the Hub forever. This special touch means the building carries with it the spirit of everyone who helped create it, leaving a legacy for future generations to see and feel proud of.
The Harrison Wellbeing Hub truly belongs to the whole school — built by many hands, full of many hearts, and ready to support many futures.
