Today was the last day for Class 2's Stone Age projects. We have seen some fantastic pieces of homework, from artwork to models, to word searches to forest school dens. Well done everyone!
Class 2 have finished their cave art project in art. We ended our block by working in small groups to complete cave art on a large scale. The children used the techniques we have practiced over the half term to create some fantastic final pieces! Amazing! #caveart #letsgetmessy

Reception have had the most fantastic time at @WWTWashington! We have had a great day exploring, investigating and also asking lots of super questions. Miss Dunlavy and the team at WWT have been super impressed with us and our impeccable manners!
Thanks to @TheSillNland for a great Stone age day. Class 2 enjoyed the workshop and exploring the artefacts and interactive displays. They then took part in 'Cookie Excavation' and carefully excavated the chocolate chips using toothpicks and brushes before eating the cookies! 🍪
